We’re
USA based Cyber firm that’s been helping people find
lodging via the Internet for almost 18 years – almost
since the ‘beginning of time’ on the World Wide
Web – since before encryption made possible the transmission
of secure information (like credit cards).
Now
one of our principals lives in the Philippines – had
personally experienced the nightmare of trying to find viable
residences to rent – and has listened to hundreds
of others with similar laments.
Internet
usage is growing in the Philippines via both Internet Cafes
and home computers. However there are many who still say,
“What’s an Email”.
Making
it easier for people to rent will be a function how Landlords
are able to adapt. They have no history of assertively
marketing their properties – in large part because
they’ve had few alternatives to do so. Many properties
just sit vacant for months (or more) because renters simply
don’t know the properties are available.
We’ve
chosen to make an investment because we think there is a
market opportunity for both Renters and Landlords. Time
will tell how viable the market is – first in the
BETA Site (Cagayan de Oro) – and
later in other select Trading Areas throughout the Philippines.
Once
the Beta Site has been tested and debugged – we’ll
offer an opportunity – via a licensing agreement –
for others to operate their own small – ‘NOT
Get Rich Quick’ – (actually ‘NEVER Get
Rich’) Cyber-Business in their own local community.
